Come Softly To Me: The Early Singles 1959-62
Fleetwoods
The Fleetwoods hold a unique and revered place in the history of late-1950s and early-1960s popular music. Hailing from Olympia, Washington, the trio - comprising Gary Troxel, Gretchen Christopher, and Barbara Ellis--became famous for their distinctive, soft-spoken vocal blend that stood out in stark contrast to the louder, driving rock 'n' roll of the era.
