Finder Sted • Taking Place is a bachelor’s program in architecture at the Royal Danish Academy, founded in 2014 in the seaplane hangar on Holmen in Copenhagen. Over a decade, the program has ­explored how architectural education can be shaped through ­academic rigor, shared responsibility, curiosity, and artistic courage. The book is about what it means to begin studying ­architecture. About learning to draw, build, write, travel, discuss, doubt, and see. About seeking precision rather than perfection. About daring to engage personally without standing alone. And about understanding archi­tecture not only as a profession, but as an artistic, social, and critical way of being in the world.
