Considering the richness of the northern culture, especially its intangible heritage in the area of Arica and Parinacota, we seek to highlight the importance that legends, myths, typical phrases, sayings and traditions have had in its history, knowing beforehand that in many of these cultural expressions there is an intricate mixture of truth and fantasy.
