The book is devoted to the fight against the oldest "enemy" of mankind - pain and introduces one of the new methods of regional pain relief - interpleural analgesia. The author, who has thoroughly studied the theoretical basis and practical possibilities of this method, presents its anatomico-physiological basis, indications, contraindications, dangers, and ways of avoiding the latter in detail. The authors describe in detail the method of interpleural analgesia and the results of its application in acute and chronic pain syndromes of various and sometimes unexpected etiology.
