In this book, the author explores the comparison of the concept of wisdom for the first time on the basis of proverbs and sayings of the Yakut and German languages. The work has both theoretical and practical significance. It presents a whole body of proverbs and sayings of two unrelated languages. The materials and recommendations developed during the research can be used in the course: "Comparative lexicology" in compiling new types of bilingual dictionaries, a manual for comparing German and Yakut languages.
