We have published Vol. I based on families of Polypetalae. This book is highly beneficial to the undergraduate and Post graduate students of Botany, Agriculture, Horticulture, Researchers and most of the universities of the world. The reason to write such a book is to provide basic knowledge on How to describe the plant systematically? The families of Gamopetale, Apetalae & monocotyledons are described with reference to general characters, 2 or 3 e.gs. With their classification with reasons, characters helpful in identification of plants in field condition. The description of families deal with range of vegetative and floral characters. The manually drawn illustrations of examples include habit, flower, stamen and carpel, T.s. ovary, floral diagram and common plants belonging to each family. The selected examples are either cultivated or wild. Bentham and Hooker's system is followed for arranging the families.
