Ephesians 4:11-12 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; /For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Though not all formally educated or licensed, every follower of Christ Jesus has been commissioned to do a work. That work is to share His truths and to reveal His character to a fallen world; to spread the seeds of the gospel so that the rain of the Holy Spirit is able to grow new gospel messengers. Thoughts From A Vocal Layman is a collection of sermons and ideas written by one who is not licensed and ordained minister, but from one who was given a work to do upon her adoption into the family of God. Each person is a sermon, a testimony, and a mirror to show the face of the Lord and to declare His mighty power to change anyone from a sinner into saint. Some of us laymen are just more vocal.
