Tales of Troy and Greece is the 1907 work by the famous author Andrew Lang. Lang draws on classical recounts to tell the story of the Homeric epic of the Trojan war. His book covers all the major events and characters from Paris, Helen of Troy, Achilles, Hector, Ulysses, and Agamemnon, to the Amazons, the Wooden Horse, and more.
Andrew Lang (31 March 1844 - 20 July 1912) was a Scottish poet, novelist, literary critic, and contributor to the field of anthropology. He is best known as a collector of folk and fairy tales. The Andrew Lang lectures at the University of St Andrews are named after him.
