Embracing Cultural Diversity in the Workplace and in Nursing Practice was written as a resource for all healthcare workers, nurses, vendors, and everyone who interacts daily with others in their work life. This resource book can be used in many workplaces where there's human interaction, from the Government to the private sector, and in the marketplace within big industries & organizations. The book was birthed out of a deep place of vulnerability from personal experiences of Systemic Discrimination & Racism in the workplace, and from the urgency to open the eyes of many people and make them aware of its existence in this 2020. The information contained in this book will assist individuals who are genuinely looking for ways to avoid interpersonal conflict, discrimination, and racism in their work environments. Understanding of Cultural Diversity, and Competence will help alleviate a toxic work environment and increase productivity. There are some exercises in the book that encourage reflective thinking and group participation.
