Poems from Disclamor have garnered G. C. Waldrep the 2006 Alice Fay Di Castagnola Award from the Poetry Society of America and a 2007 NEA Fellowship. He holds a PhD in American history from Duke University and an MFA from the Iowa Writers? Workshop.
