When we talk about total health, we must also address how to keep our spirit and mind/soul in top shape. The concept of total health came to Ms. Aguirre when she found herself diagnosed with cancer. She was not ready to face the end of her life on earth, but she also understood that something was missing in her concept of health. That is when she gathered all experience and knowledge she had about healing in spirit, soul, and body. This book is the collection of her beliefs on total health in the body, soul, and spirit from a scientific and spiritual point of view. She explains how positive and negative energy affects us in our physical and mental strength. And most important, how to connect with the source of all positive energy. She holds that real beauty and healing manifests when a person brings peace, hope, and love into the spirit of another human being. This is where total health begins when we allow positive energy to be the source of our life. Ms. Aguirre is a photographer, producer, professor, writer, and science geek. She earned her bachelor's degree at the University of California, Berkeley. And she received her master's degree at the University of South Florida. She became a volunteered chaplain to reach people from all creeds and backgrounds because this is her way to help people and inject positive energy into those in need of it.
