The intricate instructions that God gave Moses for the construction of the Tabernacle and its elements are almost stupefying. The scope covers the most infinitesimal details. The structure and sacred elements birthed from the divine blueprint are exquisite and breathtaking. The tabernacle reveals itself as a type and shadow of the redemptive plan, that a merciful and loving God created to reconcile His prize creation to Himself. Yasha, a young girl sets out to meet her Abba. She seeks Him as she sojourns through the Tabernacle of Moses and David. With each element of the Tabernacle, she meets a colorful character who either assist her or tries to hinder her in her quest to find her Abba (Father). Her tenacity and diligence are eventually rewarded in a climatic, breathtaking meeting with her majestic Abba. After overcoming the initial awe of His presence, Yasha finds a gracious Father who is delighted to lovingly spend time with her. They ultimately spend time walking together in the cool of the evening. Let us remember the price has been paid, and the invitation has been extended, for us also to spend time with our loving, Abba. Art Markham accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at the end of his sophomore year in college. His senior year he met his future wife Debbra, though neither knew it at the time. They have been married over 42 years. They have two fantastic daughters, and an awesome son-in-law. Shortly after graduating from college, Art started his professional career in finance, with a Silicon Valley defense contractor. After nine years, he answered the call of his childhood dream and adult secret desire. Art joined a local police department. The police department allowed many opportunities for personal growth. Art had opportunity in one assignment to write an anti-tobacco curriculum, author and illustrate a work book. But most of all Art enjoyed being the voice of consolation and comfort, when people were having their worst day. He also loved being the protector of the vulnerable.
