My Lord, A Star that Shines above the Sea of Struggles Jb Kim

"The universe, seen with a clear vision, shows God in everything. For me, I felt God's presence in the star that shone above the calm sea. Knowing that He was with me, there was nothing to fear, after having gone through so many events that nearly took my life. God had bestowed upon me with fearless courage and hope.


I share with you a message in my memoir: what I had to go through in my life did not just happen to one particular individual; rather, everyone is given the same opportunity to find God in his or her life in one way or another. I hope that you do not miss any life-changing opportunities that are presented to you as you go through your life. God never gives us suffering that we cannot endure. He has already given us the wisdom to survive the difficulties we face in our lives.


War is one type of conflict that we face in the world. Just as I was able to survive through the atrocities of war with wisdom and courage from Him, I hope you can rely on God-given strength to resolve the conflicts you encounter in your life and find hope for tomorrow.
Even in my eighties, I feel I still have more work to do in my devotion to Him. Still, despite my shortcomings, I humbly beseech the readers to recognize His Grace from the lessons I have learned so far."
