Life in the Spirit! is a biblical theology of the Holy Spirit, diving deep in the scriptures to explore all that the Bible says about the Spirit, but it is much more. We have introduced this study from the way a typical believer, starting at one's new faith, would be introduced to the person and work of the Holy Spirit. So we journey from one topic of the Holy Spirit to another, making sure the foundational teachings are well-understood before moving on. Step by step we explore the main teachings of the Holy Spirit and carefully apply them to our own Christian lives. Discussion questions at the back of each chapter help us practically and theologically be able to engage in the chapter's content personally and with others. What about the tough questions and all the different viewpoints? I hope that this book serves as a bridge, or at least, the beginning formation of a bridge to provide a unified understanding of the Holy Spirit. With careful attention to the scriptures and understanding of the divisive viewpoints we are unafraid to live out the fullness of the Spirit, eagerly work with others with varying viewpoints, and able to explain our biblical position. May the rich love of Christ be poured out through the Spirit in each of our lives and our congregations throughout the earth. Isn't that what God our Father wants? Why be satisfied with less when our Lord desires that we experience the fullness of Christ today!
