Mothers of The Wise and Good is a valuable compendium of accounts detailing the sacrificial love of godly, praying mothers. These women sought, above earthly joys, the character formation and salvation of their children. These babes, upon whom this devotion was bestowed, became renowned men and women that made significant contributions to Christ's church. Many of these short memoirs were written by the very recipients of such maternal love in order to honor the memory of the mother that nurtured them in the love of Christ; and whose calloused knees bore witness to the hours of prayer poured out on their child's behalf.
