About the Author

Helen Nethery Roberts, daughter of Birmingham, Alabama bankers, took her college degree in Education magna cum laude from the Western Connecticut State Teachers College in 1973 and did graduate work in Psychology and Counseling at Georgia State University. Mother of three, Helen's life changed direction in 1976 when she was introduced to the Religious Research Foundation, founded by Rev. Dr. Franklin Loehr in 1952 to research life after death, prayer, and psychic phenomena. Then came a unique opportunity to study the soul through communication with a spirit guide called Dr. John Christopher Daniels. For more than 35 years, readings from Dr. John were channeled, researched, and cross-checked for accuracy.

When Dr. Loehr died in 1988, there were over 5,000 readings. Based on the teachings in these readings, The Plan of Love and Light is the sixth book written by Helen under the auspices of the Religious Research Foundation. Rev. Roberts has also lectured, conducted seminars, and counseled many individuals in past-life recall therapy. In 1985, World University, Benson, Arizona, awarded her an honorary doctorate of philosophy for her research and writing.
