A woman slips seamlessly into her forever Life in Heaven. A struggling Pastor's life is rapidly coming apart at the seams as he wrestles with his feelings towards a disgruntled congregant. Somehow their lives are to cross paths united by God's relentless redemptive provision for both.


Against the sensuous backdrop of Heaven's beauty, the woman and the Pastor each have their own journey. The Pastor's world is tuned on its head by the awful realization that he is woefully lacking in both character and substance, while the Heaven traveler has the equally provocative task of bringing her soul the shocking truth of just how good God is.


Part devotional, part novel, part therapeutic treatment of the soul, "Life in the Day of Heaven" revolves around an intriguing possibility that human beings suffer under what is labeled "God-Trauma". "God-Trauma" is described as having its origins in the seminal human life experience of Adam and Eve expelled from the paradise of the Garden of Eden. Despite being solely responsible for their loss of beauty, Adam and Eve carry with them a devastating unconscious link between God and the indescribable tragedy of their own making. The traumatization of Adam and Eve is made even more deadly by its effects passed down through eons of time to all of Adam and Eve's descendant, including the characters in this story.
