Summary of Living Half Full Alisa Simpson is an intelligent, level-headed, beautiful woman who has chosen a career as a life coach. She is also a survivor of domestic violence. After suffering years of abuse from her husband, she is found in their basement, barely hanging on to life. With her newfound freedom, she goes through a healing process with an amazing man who will eventually become her husband. Alisa finally begins to receive closure when the trial against her ex-husband proceeds six years after his arrest.
