Publisher Marketing: Getting to Know You is a book that offers helpful information to assist a couple in preparing for marriage. There are over 300 questions on various topics that will aid the couple in delving into areas of deeper understanding about each other. Some of the questions will be fun to talk about and others cause them to think deep and be honest. These important questions are often avoided or not thought of at all. People study for years to prepare for a career, but when it comes to marriage they don't avail themselves of the opportunity to get outside help in preparing them for this lifelong decision. This book will help a couple look at vital areas of who they are so each enters with a better understanding of each other. This does not take the place of premarital counseling but is a vital supplement to marriage preparation. The book concludes with seven articles that help them understand important issues that contribute to a lasting marriage. Noticing the Red Flags is a chapter about understanding personality disorders that can complicate a marriage. Some enter marriage not understanding how people with personality disorders have a hard time or are unable to develop meaningful relationships. The final article is: "Are You Entering Marriage as an Adult or as a Child?" Some enter marriage and never leave home emotionally. They treat their spouse as their sibling and are competitive about everything. Some don't know how to carry their load of the responsibilities. This chapter is an eye-opener about entering marriage as an adult and not a child. Contributor Bio:  Olah, James James is a retired pastor and has served as a hospice chaplain for three years.
