Publisher Marketing: These proceedings are a compilation of 20 papers that were presented at the regional meetings of the Intertribal Nursery Council and the forest and conservation nursery associations in the United States in 2009. The Intertribal Nursery Council Meeting was held at the Best Western University Inn in Moscow, Idaho, on July 14, 2009. Subject matter for the technical sessions included resource protection, collaborative research efforts, cultural use of native species, and native species programs. The Joint Meeting of the Western Forest and Conservation Nursery Association and Intermountain Container Seedling Growers' Association was held at the Best Western University Inn in Moscow, Idaho, on July 15 to 16, 2009, and was hosted by the University of Idaho Pitkin Forest Nursery. Subject matter for the technical sessions included seedling nutrition, pest management, nursery research and new technology, and general nursery topics. Afternoon field trips included tours of the University of Idaho Pitkin Forest Nursery, Decagon Devices in Pullman, Washington, and Washington State University Organic Farm and Composting Facility. The Northeastern Forest and Conservation Nursery Association meeting was held at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on July 20 to 23, 2009, and was hosted by Engel's Nursery Incorporated.
