Gone with the Waves: the Letters Sent to My Family Ying Li Chinese edition

I worked as a principal engineer for Caterpillar Global Mining. I am facing the hardship due to medical problem. For encouraging myself, I started writing my personal memories. Finger soft and unafordable muscle pain often made me have to stop writing. I told herself to be strong in hard time. Day by day, month by month, and year by year, the time I finished the menuscrpt also was my happiest time. Now I do not feel dispointed since I am able to contribute my knowledge to this world. This story is about my experience during living abroad with the eight cities in four countries, which include China, Singapore, Canada and the USA. Like many foreign students, I have had to face the pressures of everyday life; I have spent the peaceful time in the universities; I have enjoyed visiting the wonderful places; I have achieved the success in the company; and I have gone through difficulty in life . The story describes why I left China after earning my PhD degree; how to challenge myself in Singapore; how to start a post doctoral research fellow work in Canada; how to continue the post doctoral research fellow work in America; how to transfer position from academia to a senior staff engineer; and how to fight against the sickness in America. My experience is a story of honor, frustration, loss, effort, success , and hope. I am facing some rain. I know that the storm will be gone soon, the trouble will have passed soon, and I will still be standing.
