Is it when a fourteen year old girl at a rock concert decides she wants to have the drummer?s baby? This book asks, what is sex? Is it only an act of intercourse between a man and a woman? Is everything else not sex? Or is sex anything that starts one, two or more down a slippery slope toward intercourse? Is petting sex? Is kissing sex? Is holding hands sex? Jon Cochran, a man with a secret, a Prophet, introduces a more conservative view of life. At the same time Jon frees people of the guilt, jealousy and angst pervading sex. Delilah Green, a Christian Pastor, holds to a traditional view of both the beginning of life and sex. She is appalled and disgusted by Jon?s ideas.
