Minivan Poems
Justin Grimbol
Having lost both his mother and his minivan in the same year, Justin Grimbol explores his feelings about both devistating events in a series of short poems. Both sacred and profane, Mr. Grimbol's poems touch upon ideas of love, lonliness, death, and forgiveness. As the poet and his van ramble through the small towns of the eastern seaboard, exploring cafes, churches, and graveyards - searching for both redemption and the perfect cup of coffee - he comes to grips with what it means to be a man during these difficult times. These poems will bring a tear to your eye, from laughter and thoughts of your own minivan loves.
