Brad Kinkaid and his merry band pick up where they left off after the human smuggling ring was broken up in his last case. Their next major challenge involves a young woman who has been missing for five years. They have very few clues and have to dig very deeply to even have an idea where to start looking for her abductors. As usual in his investigations, the supernatural plays a role. And also as usual, he finds himself embroiled in affairs other than what he is being paid to do. While the missing young woman is his main concern, he stumbles onto other information that will have devastating consequences unless he can foil a planned terrorist attack on Disneyland. This time he works with Homeland Security to track and confront the terrorists as they are about to launch the attack.
