A. in Comparative Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a writer and poet, and a translator of Israeli fiction and poetry. Contributor Bio: Weiss, Andrea L Andrea L. Weiss, Ph. D. (2004) in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations, University of Pennsylvania, is Assistant Professor of Bible at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York.
