A Matter of Revenge tells of private eye Butch Greiner who, while investigating a friend?s murder, is caught in a drug war between two factions protecting turf. It?s evil versus evil as tension between the opposing gangs increases with attacks and retaliations. Each incident of revenge provokes escalation of the conflict. The FBI, DEA, and ATF, caught up in their own internal struggles and agendas, track both gangs. Butch becomes informant to the Feds and intermediary for the gangs with scant control of the deteriorating situation. For Butch, the final shocking act of revenge brings only frustration and disillusionment.
