If the blood lacks the necessary quantities of these natural inorganic elements, or indeed the cells are having difficulty accessing, absorbing or utilizing these minerals, the cell metabolism becomes disturbed and disease occurs. In the form of a potentised, microscopic amount the tissue salt is therefore more readily absorbed into the bloodstream and cells of the body. The tissue salts can rapidly restore the inorganic balance of cell tissues, thus alleviating the symptoms of disease and in most cases its cause.

Mark has been in private practice as a Naturopath-Homoeopath and Counsellor for over 30 years. He has taught extensively about the Tissue Salts, lecturing and facilitating courses in Melbourne and elsewhere in Australia. His background includes a Bachelor of Biological Sciences from La Trobe University and Bachelor of Applied Science in Naturopathy from the Southern School of Natural Therapies. He has also completed his Master of Social Science (Human Relations/Counselling) from Swinburne University. Mark is the author of five publications in the natural therapies area.

Over his many years in private practice Tissue Salts have become an integral part of Mark's natural prescriptions for clients. Mark has written this book as a guide to other health practitioners but also to give more people an opportunity to experience the healthenhancingqualities of the Twelve Tissue Salts.
